TD3D Color Lab is operated by TD3D Labs, a sole proprietorship based in the State of California, United States. In this policy, “we” and “us” mean TD3D Labs, and “the Service” means the TD3D Color Lab website and application.

• Account information. Your email address and the authentication record created when you sign in. Authentication is provided by Supabase.
• Membership and access state. Your plan and whether your account currently has paid access.
• Lab data you save. Saved color results, recipes, machine profiles, and the settings and notes you attach to them.
• Usage records. A timestamped record each time you run a plate photo analysis, used to apply the analysis rate limit.
• Billing references.See “Payments and billing” below.

When you upload a plate photo for analysis, the image is read in your browser and sent to our server as part of the analysis request. In the current workflow we do not store the uploaded image bytes: the image is held transiently in memory for the duration of the request and is not written to our database or to any file storage we operate.

The application also does not persist uploaded plate image data to your browser’s local storage. Your in-progress analyzer session is saved locally so you can return to it, but the image itself is deliberately excluded from what is written, and it is cleared when the page is closed or reloaded.

We do store the process information you supply alongside the photo — grid dimensions, speed, frequency, power, pulse width, material, and any notes you write — when you save a result to your library.

Plate photo analysis is performed by a third-party AI provider. When you request an analysis, your uploaded image and the accompanying process parameters are transmitted server-to-server from our servers to Anthropic, which returns the structured color description shown in the app.

We do not control and do not make representations about how Anthropic handles or retains data it receives; that is governed by Anthropic’s own terms and policies. If you do not want an image transmitted to a third-party AI provider, do not submit it for analysis.

Payments are processed by Stripe. Checkout is hosted by Stripe, and payment card details do not pass through TD3D Color Lab application code. We never see or store your full card number, expiry, or security code.

What we store on our side is limited to your email address, your plan, and your access state. In a limited recovery case — when a completed payment cannot yet be matched to an existing account — we also record Stripe reference identifiers for the customer, subscription, checkout session, and event so that access can be applied correctly once you sign in.

• Supabase — authentication and database hosting for your account and saved lab data.
• Anthropic — AI analysis of plate photos you submit.
• Stripe — hosted checkout, subscription billing, and payment processing.
• PostHog — product analytics, loaded only inside the signed-in application. Events are associated with your account identifier, along with your access tier and device type.
• Sentry — error and crash reporting, also loaded only inside the signed-in application.

PostHog and Sentry are not loaded on our public pages, including this one, the pricing page, and the terms page.

Saved recipes and results are private to your account by default. Publishing an entry to the community library is opt-in: it happens only when you explicitly choose to publish that entry.

When you do publish, the entry — including the settings that produced it and a display name — becomes visible to other users of the community library.

Users may contact hello@td3dlabs.com to request access to, export of, correction of, or deletion of personal information held by TD3D Labs, subject to applicable law and technical limitations.

This is a manual process handled by email — it is not an automated feature in the application. Within the app you can delete individual saved results, and you can download a JSON backup of the library data held in your browser.

We keep your account information, membership state, and saved lab data for as long as your account is active, and afterwards where we need to for legal, accounting, or dispute resolution purposes. Analysis usage records are kept to operate the rate limit. Uploaded plate images are not retained by us, as described above.

The Service is intended for users aged 18 or older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 18. If you believe someone under 18 has provided us with personal information, contact us at hello@td3dlabs.com and we will remove it.

We may update this policy as the Service changes. When we do, we will revise the effective date shown at the top of this page. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised policy.
